Bread Recipe

3 cups flour all-purpose
2 cups flour whole wheat or 1 1/2 cups with 1/2 cups wheat germ
2 1/4 tsp. yeast
1/4 cup honey (optional)
1 cup milk
1 cup water @ 120 degrees

combine all flour, wheat, germ and yeast mix well
combine honey and water and heat to 120 degrees
mix and knead for 8 minutes and shape into ball
place in oil bowl turn over once cover let set 1 hour
knead for 3 minutes shape into load shape
let rest for 10 minutes
oil 8-4-2 loaf pan place dough in pan
cover and let raise 1 1/2 hours
bake in oven 375 degrees for 45 minutes
cover and let set 20 minutes


wet ingredients on bottom blended
1 cup water
3/4 milk
1/4 cup honey
3 1/2 tsp. yeast
dry ingredients on top mixed
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups whole wheat flour
2/3 cups oatmeal
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup almonds


2 tblspn butter
2/3 cup milk
2 eggs
2 1/2 cup flour
1 tblspn honey
1 teaspoon salt
2 bananas
1/2 cup nuts


2 tblspn butter
6 tblspn honey
1 cup milk
1 cup water
1/4 cup warm water for yeast 120
6 cups flour total including added
whole wheat, nuts, seeds, grain, wheat germ, etc.

scald milk with honey and oil add water let cool
let yeast stand in warm water about 5 min until bubbly
add to milk mixture
add 3 cups flour
let bubble about 5 min
add 3 cups flour mix and knead 5 min
place in large bowl cover with towel let rise 1 hour
knead again let rise 1/2 hour
divide in half knead place in two bread pans
when dough is ready (double size; touch and indentation stays)
bake @ 350 degrees for 40 min
oil with butter after baking
